Is it possible to predict movements in the Stock Market ?
My question may sound stupid but still why don’t the planets just slip? to the sun because of the big curve caused by it?

To understand general relativity theory isn’t very difficult, I think every 8 grader can handle it. I think the main problem for physicist is to move to the next level.

@jennevaa What I’m saying is that to some things, there just isn’t an answer.. Hence there shouldn’t be a question.. Nomatter how many generations, before and after us continue to look, there just won’t be an answer.. This is the definitive fact.. In that case, science is void of answering the ultimate question… Myths and theory is what makes things real.. The mystery of God and Creation-how it all began, just is.. Will a scientist ever? pinpoint in this mega Universe where it all started??.

@jennevaa However, as scientists, we are just viewed as a bunch of atoms, that have come together in the right combination, in the ideal environment, to think and feel, with inteligence to ask questions,? and pursue answers.. This is great, this gives us something to look forward too, and work towards…. So what happens, when we find the answer to the quintesential question?? Do you think we stop there?? Ofcourse we won’t.. So ultimately we will always look for answers.. .

@windscare21 – The Earth has momentum, so it? essentially is “falling” toward the Sun, but this ‘falling’ is exactly balanced by the movement of the Earth around the Sun.
So according to Einstein, if there? is a bend in space influencing the earth, why doesn’t the earth eventually fall in to the sun?
