An extreme act , such as burning the Quran is all extremists might need to ignite a world wide holy war.  The problem is the media.   Isolated incidents like this can appear to be the norm or the sentiment of a nation when presented on TV.   What more would a young Muslim need than the pictures of a American desecrating the Holy Scriptures to convince him that the US was the enemy.

In this time education and enlightenment about diversity is the only hope for World Peace.

We really cannot allow isolated extremists in the US to incite isolated extremists around the world into fevered action.  It may be time for some mindful censorship and self policing on the part of the all-powerful media in these sensitive times.

Terry Jones, the leader of a small Florida church which adopts anti-Islam philosophy says he is determined to go through with his plan to burn copies of the Qu’ran on September 11 in an international ‘Burn-a-Koran Day’, despite pressure from the White House, religious leaders and other people across the world to call it off. US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has called the planned event ‘distrustful and disgraceful’ means of marking the 9/11 tragedy. Muslim cleric Mohammad Mukhtar in Afghanistan said that, if the burning is carried on, Americans ‘will be killed wherever they are seen’, while others expressed similar fears that it could trigger violence across the world.

The operative word being notorious. The actual question is how do you think this notorious prophecy will effect the next election? If you personally believe these predictions are true, please explain in detail.
I know that there are major earthquakes every year and hundreds of smaller ones each day. I just want to know if a large number of people are getting behind some kind of “prediction” of an exceptionally large earthquake occurring on a specific date.
Guys, please. I don’t believe in any of these “predictions.” I understand how earthquakes work. I just have the same interest in doomsdaying as I do in, say, Flat Earth Theory. It’s clearly bunk, but it’s interesting to see what the believers say about it.

Plus, I can act all snide and say “I told you so” when the date passes without disaster.

were first hung up have subsided and no longer concern you. You are free to take up new
endeavors. You will ultimately feel refreshed and grateful that you were derailed from
your former track.
