Asteroid 2012 Is Headed Toward Earth

A new asteroid is headed toward Earth and it has the perfect name , 2012. Its full name is 2012 DA14 and it’s a long ways away. Asteroid 2012 will pass within 17,000 miles of Earth on Feb. 15,2013. If the asteroid were to hit us in the worst case scenario if would effect about an 800 sq mile area. But so far the word is that its just another close call.

Strange Structures Reported on Asteroid YU55

Both the BBC and The LA Times have reported what astronomers are calling, “strange structures” on the surface of Asteroid YU55. According to radar astronomer Lance Benner, “The animation reveals a number of puzzling structures on the surface that we don’t yet understand. To date, we’ve seen less than one half of the surface, so we expect more surprises.” YU55 is the largest asteroid to come close to Earth in 200 years. At its closest, YU55 is still a comfortable 200,000 miles away. From collected data scientists have been able to project the asteroid’s path for the next 64 years. Their projections don’t show YU55 coming close to Earth again until 2075.
Remember FEMA’s Nationwide alert today at 2pm EST is “only a test.”

Asteroid YU55 Will Bring Some Friends (Fireballs)

The Asteroid YU55 will bring some colorful friends along with her as she passes between the Earth and Moon. Starting Sunday, Nov 7, we will begin to see increased activity of fireballs and meteorites in the sky. YU55 makes its closest approach on Nov 9, 2011. It is expected to be a “safe” passing, in other words it will not crash into anything. It should be a bright and colorful show. Stay tuned for Asteroid UT91 coming on Nov 15.

Is November 9 , 2011 Asteroid Doomsday ?

On November 9,2011 the Asteroid 2005 YU55 will pass between the Moon and the Earth. Yu55 is a rather large asteroid, about the size of a Soccer field. Officially there is not supposed to be any real danger but a few strange things are co-incidentally happening at about the same time. A huge military/FEMA event is happening in the Pacific Ocean. It’s called, Exercise Pacific Wave. On the 9th 10th and 11th of November Pacific Countries will act out how they would respond to earthquakes, tsunamis and other catastrophic events. Add to this the fact that 5 planets are going to be in alignment, and the new Asteroid will pass through the tail of Comet Elenin and you have a major Conspiracy event. Talk of Doomsday is spreading all over the web. We choose to keep a pretty cool head in the light of this continuing string of bizarre catastrophes we seem to be going through lately, but we are keeping our eyes open …. and so should you. It’s called 2005 YU55, it is huge, bigger than a Soccer Field and it is coming on November 8, 2011. NASA’s claims that 2005 YU55 will not collide with the Earth anytime soon but it will come closer than any other asteroid of this size. This huge dark, nearly spherical object was discovered on December 28, 2005 by Robert McMillan near Tucson, Arizona

We can all sleep soundly knowing that both NASA and ESA are developing plans to counteract a potential collision in the future.
Supposedly the ESA is going to fire something directly at any oncoming asteroid to throw it off its path. It seems that there are more asteroids on the way , 1,600-foot-wide 99942 Apophis asteroid is coming in 2036.

Unbeknownst to almost everyone , including me, the Earth had one of its closest encounters ever with and asteroid in June of 2011.
NASA claims that we were saved when the Earth’s gravity altered the path and prevented any disasters. 2011MD, a newly discovered asteroid passed within 7,500 miles of Earth. The asteroid was first sighted on June 22 by a robotic telescope in New Mexico. It appears even with all our technology its hard to really see a lot of asteroids until they get real close .
