Hi, Thanks this is really interesting how was contact made with them? The Maya got there information in some way but how, I don’t know if it was as barbaric as the Aztec.
I wonder if after the biblical flood, contact from humans round the world was cut, some of the people who survived may have lost previous ways ? But not there architectures.
I find Pyramids and other beliefs around the? world that link, to much of a coincidence,

Why do people talk about Mayans as they don’t exist? every single mexican has mayan and aztec blood. Mexicans are pure mayans and aztecs, I know in the United States you refer mexicans to latino and hispanics…but they are pure mayan…except for a few that? are mixed with spanish and european blood…but 99% of mexicans are mostly mayan and aztec..the only reason they have spanish last names is because the Spain royal crown baptized the mexicans with christian names to save them in christ.

So… does this mean that, if our? descendants from way, way in the future find one of our old five-year diaries somewhere, they’re going to go “Oh my god, this civilisation only lasted five years! What terrible disaster could have wiped them all out?” Still, the other stuff was very interesting :^)
2012 deserves no explanation, people don’t know when this will? happen. It’s not like the Mayans can sit around forever writing a calendar.
