The US Geological Survey isn’t the only entity that exist to monitor and record these events. There are actually a lot of colleges, universities, foreign entities , and independent surveyors. And if the LCRSSS isn’t crying foul, no one in-the-know will.

Man. Gotta tell you Tom, these earthquakes are beginning to become more devastating as of late. But the only reason for devastation as measured by humans is population. True, there are places that are more earthquake prone, but it’s such a huge force that the energy needed to trigger them would be calculable, recordable, and unable to be produced by man. It’s not an exact science to predict them, but it is very rounded when it comes to recording. Each quake has its own fingerprint.
