2011 Predictions Based Upon Numerology

Alison Baughman asked:

2011 is a 4 Universal Year. ( 2+0+1+1=4) We have to look to the energy of the number 4 in order to understand the trend of global events in 2011.

The 4 Year is strongly associated with hard work and little freedom to pursue frivolous activities. It is a time to be practical, down to earth, follow the rules and be organized and efficient. Success can only be achieved through endurance and discipline. It is a Year that is instrumental for building a foundation for the future because the number 4 demands that we stabilize all areas of our life by working on the foundation upon which we live. On that note, the number 4 is strongly associated with Mother Earth.

Financially, it can be a challenging year because you have to be careful with your money in a 4 Year, being frugal and spending it wisely. There is also a warning about stress and health with the number 4.

The mood of the world is about to take a somber note and I suspect our sense of humor will be on hiatus in 2011. It is time for the world to work on our problems in a no-nonsense way.

The following are potential trends for 2011 based upon its being a 4 Universal Year and also observations on events in October.

1. Governments around the world will have to reign in their spending and you will find cuts to programs that would be considered to be expendable. It is time for our governments to be frugal. Whether it is on a federal, state or local level, budgets must be balanced and some of these budget cuts will be severe.
2. Products that are more efficient or that save money, for example fuel-efficient cars, will be invented or marketed. This would be an area to invest your money. Look for start-up companies of this nature. Also if you have extra money to invest, given the excellent buyers market in real estate, if you can invest in a rental property or something of that nature, this would be the best place to put your money rather than the stock market. It is not a year to take a risk.
3. More laws will be proposed and passed that on some level create limitations in our lives, perhaps even limiting our freedom. It will all about “law and order” in 2011. Our travel could be restricted in some way.
4. There will be a clash in ideologies where there is no middle ground. People will have strong opinions. This may cause more demonstrations or protests. People will become stressed and angry. Some incidents could potentially become violent.
5. Governments will either choose to or be forced (perhaps because of a natural disaster) to work on the infrastructures of their countries. Due to the fact the sun is in a solar maximum period, we face real danger with an interruption to our electricity for extended periods. There are plans in place to cut power in the event of a serious solar flare. This is based upon scientific facts and I encourage you to do your own research on the effects of this particular solar maximum period on you and your families. Be prepared.
6. People will feel the increasing costs of gas, food and necessities and have to make adjustments with their own budgets. There also could be protests over high prices. We can also expect shortages of products. You may want to stock up on basics and you might even consider it an investment as prices will continue to rise so you will be saving money in the long run by purchasing at a lower price.
7. Fashions and trends will be less colorful but more practical and there will be less emphasis on exorbitant spending and even Hollywood will tone down the usual “over the top” spending, glitz and glamour.
8. Companies who have been unethical by lying or misrepresenting their products will be exposed and held accountable. This would also include public individuals.
9. The increased trend in Earthquakes will continue in 2011. Because there was a 6.9 Earthquake in the Gulf of California in October, I have concern about that area. I also expect more tsunamis.
10. Industries that depend on a good economy such as the vacation and travel industry, restaurants, and high-end commerce will continue to suffer even more in 2011. People will not be as willing to part with their hard-earned dollar even if they have extra money.
11. The stock market may “flat line” in the sense that people will not be as willing to take a risk.
12. Unfortunately, job losses and unemployment will add to the financial limitations of many people in 2011. Many job losses will come from budget cuts made by the government for government funded organizations.
13. 2011 may be a difficult year for epidemics or pandemics. There is already evidence of this with cholera in Haiti, whooping cough, hand and foot disease and now news of the bird flu in China. Learn how to keep your immunity system healthy. Start taking Vitamin D and C and do some research on other options.
14. North Korea will continue to be a concern for their aggressive behavior and there will be more news which will cause alarm.
15. Weather will continue to break the records. Flooding, wind storms, tornados and “freak storms” will be in the news for 2011. Expect a few Nor’easters this year but generally a milder winter for the East and a difficult winter for the Midwest. I do not expect an active hurricane season in the Atlantic again in 2011.
16. Expect more and more unexplained phenomenon with the earth’s atmosphere in 2011 including meteorites, undiscovered anomalies, and strange behavior of the sun and yes, even UFOs.
17. Without question, the focus on a more spiritual approach to living will continue to grow and you can expect to see continued growth of this trend in TV, radio and all forms of media.

Predictions of Renewal For 2012

Gordon Leon asked:

The 2012 date is based on the last date in the Mayan calendar – the last day of the 5125.36 year cycle as well as the even longer 26000 year cycle. The Mayans had a remarkably sophisticated calendar that has provided an accuracy rate of predictions unprecedented by most other prediction generators.

It is presumed that because there are no predictions beyond the December 21, 2012, date, the world as we know it must end. But for some, this does not necessarily have to mean a permanent, disastrous end. Instead, the 2012 date may simply be the ending of one cycle and the beginning of a new cycle, a chance for things to change for the better rather than worse.

The Mayan’s may simply have not presumed that their calendar was needed beyond the end of this cycle, and there was no way for them to continue predictions indefinitely. There is no reason why a new cycle beginning on the 2012 date should mean the complete destruction of parts of the old cycle.

Instead of the world devolving into chaos and extinction, Frank Waters presented an alternate theory that the 2012 date will be a time of a paradigm shift or change in consciousness all over the world.

Others have argued that the new age could bring about a leap in evolution or a radical change in DNA.

Everyone on earth will achieve a higher state of being or consciousness. Frank Waters also presented the theory that the galaxy and Earth and the rest of the celestial bodies would reach a critical alignment. December 21, 2012, will be winter solstice, a ritually important date almost universal among Earth cultures.

Proponents that this alignment among orbit planes is significant suggest that this alignment will cause spiritual enlightenment among mankind. Some even believe that aliens or beings of higher consciousness could use the December 21, 2012, date to step in and aid humans in their shift of consciousness.

Hindu stories suggest that the new age will be heralded by a new avatar, or incarnation of a god, to guide humans into a new phase of their existence.

While many 2012 predictions dwell on the myriad natural and supernatural disasters that could occur on that date, the catastrophic events predicted for the 2012 date cannot rule out the possibility that all the turmoil will act as birth pangs for a new age of enlightenment, supported in part by the Revelation prediction of apocalypse followed by a thousand-year utopia on Earth.

Just as the Dark Ages yielded the Renaissance (indeed, the Renaissance could not have occurred without the Dark Ages), so too might terrible disaster lead to a time of great change, prosperity, art, science, wisdom, imagination, and spiritual renewal.

Gordon Leon a Survivalist, Futurist & Author stumbled across the 2012 Planet X phenomenon in 2007 while researching abnormal weather patterns around the globe, after much investigation he found the majority of the indigenous peoples and ancient prophecies such as the Mayans, Hopi Indians, Nostradamus, the Bible, all reaching the same conclusion. There will be significant Earth and climate changes that will affect us all; what was most disturbing to Gordon was the fact that nobody had come up with a plausible solution to these problems, being an accomplished survivalist and futurist he decided to write an engaging two part book on how to survive the coming disasters of 2012.

Barbara Garcia asked:

The tempo of the US economic recovery period may be disrupted with a few unexpected natural and an international conflict but however fast or slow, one thing for sure is that the unemployment rate will be the lowest in the third quarter of the year since the recession began.

From my perspective, we have about a 75-80 percent chance of 2010 being one of the most financially favorable years that we have seen in a long time.

The stock market will continue to show productivity offering new opportunities for investors and business, indicating a more aggressive period of recovery and economic growth. We will also see a great deal of new start up business ventures now.

2012 Predictions And What They Mean For You

Richard Armen asked:

There seems to be a large amount of concern and speculation regarding the “End of The World” – which many fear will take place in 2012. The reason behind the concern? Several notable prophecies and coincidences. The Mayan Calendar, a masterpiece of mathematics and astronomy, ends in 2012. In addition, various sources believe that the Hopi Indians, Nostradamus and/or the Bible indicate that the world will end in 2012.

So is there validation for these claims? Some individuals suggest that the proposed “apocalypse” will not mean an end to the human race, but rather, it may indicate a change in human consciousness. There are other reasons to doubt that the world is ending. Let’s not forget that the end of the world has been predicted before. 1666 and 1777 were both years that people suspected a cataclysmic event to transpire, and both 2000 and 2010 brought fears that “life as we know it” was ending. There have been countless other dates bringing apocalyptic prophecies, too, such as Nostradamus’ prediction that the Earth would be struck by a comet in 1999.

Catastrophes over the last decade have all been claimed as a sign of doom, from Hurricane Katrina to the BP Oil Spill to the destruction in Haiti. Those who watch the news have certainly noted that there have been many such disasters over the last ten years. Believers in the 2012 apocalypse point to these as signs that the world is coming to an end, but are these disasters actually happening with increased frequency? Though it may seem so to those who watch the news regularly, in fact it’s just the media portrayal, and the evidence actually shows no increase in such events over the past ten years.

Plus, there is little academic support for the idea that the world will “come to an end” in 2012. The varying apocalyptic predictions range from interpretations of the Bible to Nostradamus, the Hopi Prophecies and the Aztec calendar. Nearly all point to a natural disaster, from an earthquake to a hurricane to a large comet or meteor strike, as the source for the apocalypse. However, there is little scientific basis for such predictions. Other predictions, of course, are vague and open to interpretation. Ranging from Nostradamus’ predictions to various ways of reading the Bible as an apocalypse prediction, and even the idea that aliens will visit Earth in 2012, these predictions cannot be tested in any scientific manner.

What does all this uncertainty mean for you? Whether you believe the predictions or not, the fact is that natural disasters are a possibility – even if they don’t cause the world to end. Be prepared with an emergency survival kit and plenty of food and water so that you and your family can live “off the grid” for days, weeks, or even months at a time. Even if the world doesn’t come to a screeching halt at the end of 2012, you’ll be prepared for any of the more routine natural disasters that may come your way.

Urban Survival – Surviving a Natural Disaster

David Hardin asked:

Global warming, climate change, rising sea levels, going green.

These are terms that most of us paid little, if any, attention to, even a decade ago. I do not consider myself an alarmist and I am admittedly cynical about a lot of the news that is reported by the media, but CNN, FOX and the other networks do not invent tornadoes, earthquakes, hurricanes and the like, just to boost their ratings. These things are really happening and they are happening with increasing frequency. This is our new reality and I believe it is going to get worse, before it gets better.

Global warming and dramatic climate changes are upon us. Whether mankind is responsible for these changes, or whether the earth is just rearranging itself as it does periodically, is anyone’s guess, however, statistically speaking, there is a good chance that by the end of your life you will be classified as either a survivor, or a victim. To at least some extent, the choice is yours. Think back over the past few months of all the natural disasters that have occurred,

Tsunamis in Myanmar Earthquakes in China Rising ocean levels swamping islands in Micronesia Drought in Africa

Here, in the USA., we have had:

Wildfires raging in California Tornadoes in Virginia, in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Iowa Killer windstorms in Kansas and Missouri Crop killing floods devastating the Heartland Melting tundra in Alaska, forcing evacuations of towns.

I am not going back as far as hurricane Katrina. What I just described has happened during the past three months! And, we haven’t come to hurricane season, yet.

Living more than 25 years in Florida, I have survived almost a dozen hurricanes. I have dodged tornadoes in the Midwest, sat out a blizzard in Donner Pass and weathered an earthquake in California. Be glad I am not your next door neighbor. These things seem to follow me around.

In my experience Americans do not handle disasters particularly well. Fortunately, we have not suffered a lot of the problems that other nations in the world have endured.

Do not get me wrong. I love my country and I love the American people. I think we are an easy going, resilient bunch. We tend to be generous to a fault and, despite all our grumbling, we are a very forgiving nation, BUT, we have grown accustomed to a life of convenience and instant gratification. When a disaster takes away our electricity, our supply of clean water, our homes and instant access to fast food, we definitely do not handle it well. We come around quickly, but when disaster strikes, the first 72 hours can be a nightmare!

We Americans buy insurance policies anticipating disaster, but how many of us have a real plan, or a survival kit that can save us and our loved ones should disaster strike?

The days of It cannot happen here are OVER. Do not just think about preparing for a disaster. DO IT NOW!

Technology and Coping With Disaster

John Savageau asked:

Natural disasters come in many shapes. From the incomprehensible carnage of last weekend’s tsunami in the Indian Ocean, to hurricanes and typhoons, to tornadoes and drought, our world deals with the horror of disaster as a normal part of our lives. Throw in a bit of human influence through wars, terrorism, or the threat of weapons of mass destruction, and our need to deal with and overcome calamity almost becomes routine.

Watching CNN and the news channels gives a near real-time view of disasters. While some may find this a bit macabre, it also shows our ability to quickly respond to major events, on a global scale. The same technologies that allow us to view the aftermath of a tsunami also allow us to quickly gather factual data on the extent of a disaster, and use that for disaster planning and response.

Organizations such as the Pacific Disaster Center, and the Asia Pacific Area Network try to assist regional nations to build better disaster planning models and response model through training and timely dissemination of critical information. Regional military organizations participate with each other on joint disaster planning (for other than wartime-related disaster) to organize their resources in response to a regional disaster, and can respond within hours to major problems.

While carnage on the scale of the Indian Ocean tsunami cannot be controlled within a day or a few days, the communications and real time information collection on the disaster will most certainly reduce the level of misery experienced by victims at a level that would not have been possible even 40 years ago. As aircraft and on-site persons (using satellite phones or other powerful mobile communicators) collect information on areas of Sumatra, Thailand, and other affected areas, the information is almost immediately being logged, evaluated, distributed, and prioritized among a number of emergency response centers operated by regional governments – as well as international relief agencies.

From the regional and international response centers coordination further occurs among members of organizations such as the Multinational Planning Augmentation Team. MPAT holds frequent disaster response exercises among member nations to ensure coordination lines and pre-planned responses are quickly executed. All MPAT member nations have access to central databases of planning information, available resources, and a “command center” mobilized when a regional disaster occurs.

Telecommunications and information technology are key components in our ability to respond to disaster. As real time information is collected, it is available immediately to all participants in the relief effort. Other technology – in particular military technology, can easily serve a duel use purpose in a disaster. The same troop transports designed to carry soldiers to war can carry refugees from a disaster. The same photo reconnaissance aircraft used to spy on enemies can provide a clear view of the extent of damage. The same technology used to collect electronic intelligence can locate attempts to use mobile phones, radios, and even audio signals of people stranded in remote areas. Infrared scanning used to identify enemy soldiers in a bunker or building can just as easily locate a family stranded in a jungle.

If you compare the current response to the Indian Ocean tsunami to the effects of tsunami damage following eruption of the Krakatoa volcano in 1883, you can see the extent of damage from that disaster was not even known for several decades.

In most cases disaster cannot be predicted. We are making progress predicting earthquakes, hurricanes, and eruptions – however science is no closer to effective disaster prediction than we are in fully understanding the human genome. Through effective use of communications, information technology, and duel use military/civilian technology transfer, we are getting much closer to reducing the level of pain following an event.

2005 will be a big year in further exploiting the potential of Internet and communications-related technology. Given the positive moves toward regional cooperation in activities such as MPAT, we should be encouraged our governments understand the need and role of technology in planning – was well as responding – to regional disaster.

Earthquake Prediction For Everyone

Reen Collett asked:

Here’s fascinating information used by generations of folk in those lands prone to earthquakes from time to time. These signs and symptoms have been garnered from places as diverse as China, Peru, Japan and the Caribbean, where they’ve been tried and trusted by countryfolk for centuries. One important point emerges: trust the animal world! Their hearing is more acute than ours, their instincts unhampered by intellects.

In 2008, the year of the serious earthquake in Sichuan, China, amateur experts correctly predicted the quake weeks before, from the natural signs below, and were ignored by the Chinese Government. Some people reported ‘strange phenomena of plagues of toads seen hopping over highways’. These aren’t strange phenomena, but the natural world’s normal response to danger:

1. Two to Three Months before:

* Unseasonal blooming of fruit trees and potatoes… at times.
* Some birds don’t return in Springtime.
* Unusual fish sightings at the surface of seas or lakes.
* Unusual rat sightings

While none of these alone may be anything unusual, if 2 or 3 have been noticed together, look out for further signs in the weeks to come.

2. Weeks Before

* Donkeys bray restlessly. This animal is known to be the one most sensitive to earthquake signs.
* Fish on the surface, crowds of crabs on beaches. Note if this has been going on since the first sightings a month ago.
* Unusual worm sightings in gardens.
* Pigs bite one another.
* Chickens are restless, refuse to roost or enter their enclosures.

Again, if those signs of No.1 have been missed, two or more of these should alert everyone, and Seismology Authorities should be notified. If there is no such authority, the local traditional earthquake precautions will be carried out.

3. Days Before

* Weather is hot and dry
* Small tremors may occur. If this happens in addition to the earliest sightings, get ready for a big one. Small unrelated tremors may occur with no undue concern.
* Beachings of marine life.
* Snake sightings in city or country.

By the time these signs occur together and in addition to previous signs, it’s time to vacate all buildings and set up tents in fields and vacant areas.

4. Day before

* Small mammals, rats, snakes and songololos (millipedes) are sighted leaving towns and heading for the hills.
* Dogs are noisy.
* Cattle stop eating and refuse to enter their stables. Alert farmers will already be keeping their livestock in the fields. Horses and cattle often lie down.
* Pigeons flock and leave town. Seagulls leave for safer coastlines.
* Fish and crabs are beaching in hordes by now. People will keep away from beaches for Tsunami security.
* Tremors might now be felt by people.

5. Hours before

* People may have yet heard nothing, but domestic animals panic noisily.
* Cockerels do an unusual, highpitched, continual crow.
* Rats and snakes sighted in city streets looking confused.
* Seagulls leave in screaming flocks, and other birds circle in the sky.

6. Minutes Before

* Incredibly loud howling and rumbling announces the Earthquake.

A Chinese seismologist, speaking in Caltech, USA, recently, said that animal behaviour is still the best method of earthquake prediction. If none of the above signs and symptoms have been noticed by residents, it’s possible that the quake may be connected to underground mining rockfalls or blasting, underground nuclear explosions, or other manmade explosions. For instance, on Wednesday 10 March, South African seismologists noted a ‘Seismic Event’ of only 2.6 on the Richter Scale, and it was in the area of Free State’s Gold Mines. In which case the natural world will not have been aware to the extent that they are always aware of natural phenomena.

Psychic Prediction – The Inside Scoop From Two Professional Psychics

Scott Petullo asked:

A young person wanting to be a professional psychic asked
us a series of questions.

First she asked if one type of psychic prediction works
better than another.

We answered that each psychic, medium, advisor, or intuitive
uses his or her own unique form of psychic prediction. It’s up
to the individual to figure out what works best for them.

Some use pure psychic insight alone, but we’ve found those
who offer consistently accurate prediction through this mode
to be rare.

Others use tarot cards or tea leaves. Still others use palmistry,
physiognomy (reading faces/bodies), and many other means.

We’ve found ancient (up through 1000 AD and even beyond
into the 1500s) astrology and numerology to be the most
accurate forms of delineation and prediction. Modern
numerology is also good, but it’s best, in our view, to use
it in conjunction with ancient astrology and numerology.

In our experience, by itself, modern psychologically based
Western astrology offers inadequate predictive accuracy. It
is best used as a psychological personality analysis tool in
conjunction with other modes.

We take our twin readings (http://www.mystictwins.com) a
step further by using channeling and psychic insight to cross
check our findings for the highest level of accuracy.

Her next question was if certain people are more suited than
others to do psychic prediction.

We told her yes, we believe so. There are those who say
everyone has psychic ability and that all you have to do is
tap into it. While we agree this is true to a point, only some
have the type of natural, consistent psychic ability that allow
them to do this type of work professionally.

There are also those who claim to come from a long line of
psychics in their family. While having a psychic parent or
grandparent may help one to develop their abilities, we feel
that psychic ability is a talent one develops over lifetimes,
not a “gift” or strictly from one’s genetic makeup. Also, it’s
common for professional psychics to have family members
who are psychic, but who don’t make known or are unaware
of their talents.

If someone doesn’t have strong psychic ability, then at least
a heightened intuitive sense helps if they are more of a chartist
(e.g., using astrology and, or numerology) since higher-self
guidance is necessary to identify the most effective methods.
Regular meditation helps to maintain keen intuition.

Additionally, a sharp sense of discernment and a knack for
objective analysis is necessary if someone is doing chart
work. A lot of it can be learned, but it certainly helps to
have a natural aptitude.

Beyond all of that, they must really enjoy it and have the
desire and passion to do their best, as with any field.

We feel regular meditation is key if you want to help yourself
and others through intuitive work.

All in all, becoming very proficient in this type of work
demands an almost around the clock effort and leaves
little time for anything else if you strive to deliver
excellence to your clients.

She then asked us if it’s possible to predict our own
future.

We said yes, but those in our field are likely to tell you
that when it comes to matters of the heart, for example,
remaining objective isn’t as easy as it is when you’re
doing the work for someone else.

She also asked us what we’ve found people’s views to be
about psychic prediction.

We told her that we’ve found them to be mixed, largely
due to misconceptions or bad experiences. Every field has
those who you are best avoiding, and prophesy is no
exception.

However, clearly, there are many talented, well-meaning
professionals doing the type of work that we do. The more
objective and educated a person is about the psychic sciences
and predicting personal fate in general, the more likely they
are to choose a talented reader and be receptive to the
forecasting and prediction of their personal destiny.

What has contributed to a negative view of prediction and
metaphysical work? Since the Age of Reason (1600′s AD)
astrology and numerology (and psychic work in general)
have been in a state of decline in part due to a prevailing
condemnation under the guise of “logic,” a distorted
redefinition of the meaning of science, all but relegating
the sacred science of astrology and numerology to myth
and pseudo science.

From that time forward, the science authorities dictated
that astrology and numerology (referred to as number
mysticism in pre-modern times) weren’t sciences because
they didn’t hold up under the scientific method, which
involves logically compiling observable, measurable data.

That judgment is unfounded because numerology and
astrology are sciences by definition, since results are
consistently and empirically drawn from the same sets
of circumstances. Science is based on observation.

She was also wondering what is the most interesting thing
about being a psychic.

We answered that serious, in-depth study of the ancient
sciences of numerology, astrology and tarot (predicting
personal fate) is literally a study of the meaning of life.

Regular meditation and becoming proficient with
numerology, astrology, and tarot accelerates personal
growth and understanding, and demands that one lets go
of ego-self (personality) outlooks (everyone has them to
some degree). Comprehensive, objective study of these
mystic sciences reveal incredible insight about human
character and past, present, and future circumstances,
making it very difficult to deny a lot of life’s cold, hard
truths. Although potentially shocking at times, this raw
perspective is ultimately a great asset.

Hurricane Heading Towards You – 6 Things You Must Do

Larry L asked:

So a hurricane has formed and is heading towards you. Hopefully you have some pre-hurricane season preparation like fill your gas cans, fix any roof leaks, trim dead branches, got flashlight batteries and cranked up that generator. Now that it is heading towards you, what last minute things should you do?

Here are six things you can do to prepare before that hurricane hits.?
Fill up three gallons (at a minimum) of water for each person in your house. It’s not unusual to have loss of electricity and flooding and the water in your area becomes undrinkable. Put all your important documents in a waterproof bag. Important documents include things like insurance policies, wills, contracts passports and other like documents. Take pictures of everything in your house. If the worst happens and your house is damaged, you will have proof of what was lost for insurance purposes. Remove any outside furniture or anything else that could become a projectile in heavy winds. Run the garbage disposal and make sure it is empty. If your power goes out for any time, the food left in the disposal will start to smell very quickly. Get out of the way. If the hurricane is considered major, category 3 or above, leave and go someplace out of the way. We all saw what happened to the people of New Orleans who stayed.

This is just a partial list of things you must do before a hurricane hits your area. The last thing you want is to go into a hurricane unprepared, and the electricity goes out.
